There is one plan, and it is the whole product. No thinner dataset, no shorter history, no slower pack for anyone — because there is no tier above it to hold anything back.
Coverage
3,291 covered SEC-reporting operating companies
Rendered live from our coverage build. The boundary is SEC registration, not nationality — foreign private issuers that file with the SEC are covered. This number counts operating companies and nothing else. There is no REIT, no bank and no insurer inside it and there never has been — those are counted separately in the row below, against their own bars, because a company in one of those families is never a peer in an operating cohort. Incomplete-history names are outside it too: all six core metrics must be present across three fiscal years before a company enters.
Metric families — counted separately, on purpose
170 REITs · 58 banks & thrifts · 81 insurance underwriters
Each family has its own metric set, its own coverage file and its own admission bar, and these are deliberately not added to the number above — a single total would say the two populations are interchangeable, and the whole point of a metric family is that they are not. No cohort, median, band or percentile we compute ever spans two families. What we hold is larger than what clears a bar: 205, 347 and 106 tickered filers sit in those files at some tier, each row naming the leg that binds it. The bank bar is by far the tightest and we did not lower it to make the number look better: an efficiency ratio with no filed net-revenue check element at the same period end is not one we will publish. Family packs are not orderable from this page. This plan buys operating-company packs; if a family benchmark is what you need, write to us first and we will tell you what we hold and what we refuse to compute before you pay for anything.

Pick them yourself, or give us the subject alone and we auto-select same-line-of-business, same-scale peers and say so in the pack.
Core metrics
6, validated for every covered company
Revenue, Revenue growth (YoY), Operating margin, Net margin, FCF margin, Capex % of revenue — 3+ fiscal years, 5 where filed. Validated present before a company enters the universe. Where a filer does not disclose one in a given year, that year's cell reads n/a with the reason — never an estimate. A pack renders a six-year window by design; that is the window, not the extent of the data. Measured across the covered universe, the median company has 9 fiscal years in which all six core metrics compute, the deepest 18, and 64.3% hold more than a pack renders — every one of those years is cited to its filing and reachable through the Data API in your seat, one metric-year per call. A deeper pack window has not shipped, and each pack states its own numbers: the years it renders, the years its CSV delivers, and the annual periods we hold for that filer.
Extended metrics
17 more, where the filing discloses them
Gross margin, EBITDA margin, D&A % of revenue, SG&A % of revenue, R&D % of revenue, SBC % of revenue, Effective tax rate, FCF conversion (FCF / net income), Accruals ratio, Net debt / EBITDA, Interest coverage (EBIT / interest), ROIC, DSO (days sales outstanding), DIO (days inventory outstanding), DPO (days payables outstanding), Cash conversion cycle, Buybacks + dividends. Undisclosed prints "n/a" — never an estimate.
Deliverable
PDF-ready HTML + three CSV companions, generated on demand
The pack is print-formatted HTML — open it, print to PDF from your browser, and it's the copy for the room. Three CSVs ride with every pack: the data CSV (every underlying number, with quality flags) for your model, the provenance CSV citing each filed figure to its XBRL tag, form and period, and the statistics CSV carrying every rendered median, P25–P75 band and percentile as data. We don't render the PDF for you, so we don't claim to: it is one keystroke at your end and an honest description at ours. Requests are picked up within a minute and a pack computes in seconds. Your seat also includes the
Excel add-in (=CD.GET, =CD.SOURCE, =CD.PEERS, =CD.COHORT, =CD.MULTIPLE) and the
Data API — the same filed figures, cited the same way, straight into your own model; installing the add-in is two minutes from the support page.
Guarantee
14-day accuracy refund · free reissue always
If a pack materially misstates its cited sources and you tell us within 14 days of the charge, we cancel and refund that charge in full. Separately and with no time limit: any figure that doesn't match its filing is verified and the pack reissued free.
